#DLineU Defensive Line Development

Coach Aaron Terry has built a reputation as one of the premier defensive line developers in college football. Entering his 10th season as Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at Iowa Western Community College, Aaron Terry has established #DLineU as one of the premier defensive line development programs in junior college football.

In 9 seasons with the Reivers, Terry has helped develop and send 51 defensive linemen to Division I programs while coaching 10 players who have gone on to play professionally in the NFL or CFL. Most recently, Terry added three NFL Draft selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, including Quientrail 'Bobby' Jamison-Travis (6th Round, #186 overall), Anterio Thomson (6th Round, #208 overall), and Jordan Van Den Berg (6th Round, #213 overall). Previous NFL Draft selections under Terry include Daviyon Nixon (2021 - 5th Round, #158 overall) and Perrion Winfrey (2022 - 4th Round, #108 overall).

Terry’s defensive fronts have consistently ranked among the most dominant units in college football. In 2022, Iowa Western led the NJCAA in sacks (58) while leading the nation in rushing defense (40.9 yards per game), helping capture a National Championship. In 2023, the Reivers again led the country in sacks (62) and finished second nationally in rushing defense (71.2 yards per game), securing back-to-back National Championships. In 2024, Iowa Western finished as National Runner-Up while ranking in the top 10 nationally in both categories.

In 2025, Terry’s defensive front helped lead Iowa Western to the program’s 4th National Championship, producing one of the most dominant defensive seasons in college football. The Reivers led all levels of college football with a school-record 74 sacks while finishing top five nationally in rushing defense.

Through #DLineU, Coach Terry brings the same championship-level development, technical expertise, and proven systems used to develop elite defensive linemen at the highest levels of football.

#DLineU Pass Rush Summit

The #DLineU Pass Rush Summit was created in 2025 with one goal in mind—to bring former players back home to Iowa Western for a weekend of fellowship, development, and elite pass rush training.

In its inaugural year, more than 20 former, current, and future players came together, including athletes currently playing in the NFL and at the FBS college level, to train, share knowledge, and continue building the brotherhood that makes #DLineU special.

In 2026, we’re taking it to another level.

For the first time, the #DLineU Pass Rush Summit is now open to everyone, high school athletes, college players, and the pros who are looking for a high-energy weekend focused on elite defensive line development, pass rush mastery, competition, and exposure.

Friday night will feature the #DLineU Pass Rush Summit Coaching Clinic, where high school and college coaches from across the Midwest will come together to learn from some of the top defensive line coaches in the country. Coaches will gain valuable insight into defensive line fundamentals, pass rush development, practice structure, player development, and building championship culture.

Saturday shifts from the meeting room to the field as those same coaches will attend the #DLineU Pass Rush Summit Camp, actively participating in drills, coaching athletes, and evaluating talent throughout the day—creating a unique opportunity for athletes to receive elite instruction while gaining real recruiting exposure.

Athletes will train alongside current NFL players and FBS college defensive linemen, compete against top talent, and be evaluated by college coaches from across the Midwest while experiencing firsthand what it takes to separate themselves.

Under the leadership of Coach Aaron Terry, #DLineU has developed some of the most dominant defensive fronts in the country—totaling 227+ sacks over the last four seasons, including 74 sacks last season, which led all of college football.
